Welcome to MUSE DANCE
MUSE DANCE is run by mother and daughter partnership of Karen and Ella Robinson combining two well know local dance schools. Karen Robinson School of Dancing and the Madelaine Kelly School of Dancing to form a fully integrated dance school, able to offer all pupils a very full timetable of classes along with fantastic performance opportunities.
The strength of this approach is reflected in our excellent examination results.
We create a caring and nurturing environment, which in turn encourages their growth in self-confidence and provides a foundation for their social development.
Pupils are given the opportunity to enter for RAD and ISTD examinations, however, examinations are not compulsory and pupils may move on to the next level when the required standard has been achieved.
Karen Robinson School of Dancing was opened in 2006 in the Cippenham area and has been operating and growing steadily in Holyport, Burnham and Cippenham since then.
Madelaine Kelly School of Dancing was established in 1992 and has been running classes in Wargrave and Hare Hatch.
Both schools have built up a good reputation with the ethos of good quality dance training in a friendly and inclusive environment. Both schools have always entered children for Dance exams with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and the Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD) and both have a 100% success rate with a very high percentage of our pupils receiving merits and distinctions, which are the two highest grades.
Over the years many of our pupils have successfully auditioned to become associates and scholars of the Cecchetti Society (part of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance specialising in Ballet) and some have gone on to gain places at some of the top theatre colleges in the country.
We offer a FREE taster lesson for all new pupils and have no upfront joining fee.
Parents are invited towards the end of term to come and watch their child’s class so that they can see the progress they have made.
All teachers are fully qualified and hold first aid certificates, appropriate police checks and are up to date with all child protection procedures.
